I feel very fortunate to be in such a wonderful profession. I am able to enjoy the blend of science and artistry that dentistry involves, as well as interact with all of the wonderful people in our community. I enjoy working with so many unique people everyday because it gives me perspectives and insight to help me grow as a person.

Continuing Education

Dentistry is always changing and I enjoy learning about new ways I can help my patients keep their teeth and their gums healthy. I am involved in the Silverdale Restorative Implant Study Club, the South Sound CEREC Study Club, and am certified in first aid and CPR.

In the Community

I am a volunteer with the AACD's Give Back a Smile program which puts victims of domestic violence together with dentists to restore their smiles and give them back their self esteem. I also volunteer with Kitsap's Stand Down Program to help Veterans in need of dental care, and roughly every other month I work one weekend with the armed forces (primarily National Guard and Navy) aiding in their readiness programs.

Outside the Office

I was born in New Orleans and now live in Port Orchard, close to my wonderful family. In addition to my parents and siblings, I am fortunate to have several other close family members in western Washington and my significant other, Zack, is also a practicing dentist in the Kitsap area. We have no pets of our own but enjoy borrowing the dogs from my folks to visit the dog park. I love to play soccer, snowboard, read fantasy and mystery novels, paint, fish with my dad, and play board games and cards.
